About Us

An independent
firm. A named person, not a portal.

Mint Hill Tax Services is a tax planning and preparation firm specializing in physicians, dentists, and their practices — based in Omaha, Nebraska, serving clients nationwide.

We built Mint Hill Tax around a single fact. Every move that changes your tax bill — the Roth conversion, the entity election, the charitable gift made in stock instead of cash, the depreciation timing — expires on December 31. Most preparers open the file in February.
That isn’t a failure of effort, it’s arithmetic. A firm paid per return, in a season, can’t afford to think about your year in October. So the firm runs the other way. One flat monthly fee, which only makes sense if we’re working on your return all twelve months. No hourly billing. No surprise invoice in April.
We built it for physicians and dentists. That means backdoor Roths that have to be reported correctly and not just executed, locums income spread across three states, K-1s from surgery centers and real estate partnerships, and build-outs that belong on a different depreciation schedule. A generalist preparer meets that mix once a year, in March. For us, it’s the whole job.
Your Tax Lead

An independent firm.
A named person, not a portal.

Too many high-earning households get a return in April and silence the other eleven months. We built Mint Hill Tax to be the opposite — an independent firm that works your tax year all twelve months.

We’re based in Omaha, Nebraska and serve clients nationwide. When you call, someone who knows your return answers.

Landon Bailey

Tax Lead · Mint Hill Tax Services
Landon grew up in North Platte, Nebraska and majored in accounting at York University. He received his master’s degree from Chadron State College, began his accounting career in Ogallala, Nebraska, and moved to Bozeman, Montana in 2013, where he continued gaining experience at the accounting firm, HPW.

Landon has worked on everything from trust and estate taxes, small businesses, to partnerships, payroll and bookkeeping, but his passions became evident as he found himself drawn toward individual taxes and tax planning. He truly loves helping people to succeed financially and understand how tax planning can benefit them in the long run.

Landon is married and has three children, and in 2023 they decided it was time to move back to the Midwest. When not coaching basketball or football for his kids, he enjoys hunting, playing basketball himself and being involved in church.

"Most tax relationships start in February and end in April. Ours starts in October — while there's still time to act."
